ANDREW CHARTERS
Director, Corporate Affairs

Andrew Charters holds the position of Director, Corporate Affairs at Specialty Program Group Canada.  In this role, Andrew advises on a broad range of legal, compliance and corporate governance matters.  In addition, he provides technical support to strengthen the group’s underwriting and claim services.  Andrew entered the insurance industry in 2016 as General Counsel for i3 Underwriting and previously carried on a corporate solicitor practice at a leading business law firm in Vancouver, BC.  Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, a Juris Doctor degree (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan and is a practising member of the Law Society of British Columbia.  He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Canadian Corporate Counsel Association.
