Cameron Copeland is President & CEO of SPG Canada, the largest delegated underwriting authority enterprise (DUAE) in the Canadian P&C insurance industry. SPG Canada’s roots date back to 1937 with the establishment of Anderson McTague & Associates. Under his leadership, Cameron has led SPG Canada through several acquisitions that form part of SPG Canada’s legacy MGA brands, most recently being the amalgamation of Totten Insurance Group and Anderson McTague & Associates in January 2025. SPG Canada’s other legacy brands are Cansure, i3 Underwriting, and Beacon.

Cameron’s values-driven leadership, emphasizing creativity, ethics, purpose, and vision, has earned recognition with multiple finalist nominations and awards celebrating excellence in ESG, DEI, and several top MGA awards; establishing SPG Canada as the premier DUAE organization. Committed to sustainability, Cameron spearheads carbon reduction strategies and collaborations with EcoClaim, The Green Council, and The Nature Force. Additionally, his industry contribution extends to a regulatory role as a voting member of the Insurance Council of BC.

Committed to ongoing personal growth, Cameron holds an MBA from Queens University and professional designations, including Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), and Canadian Risk Management (CRM).
