SPG Canada Named 2026 5-Star Construction Insurer by Insurance Business Canada

SPG Canada has been named a 5-Star Construction insurer for 2026 by Insurance Business Canada, recognizing the consistent performance brokers have come to expect across underwriting, product offerings, pricing, responsiveness, and service on construction risks.
The recognition is part of Insurance Business Canada’s annual research process, which combines broker nominations, insurer submissions, and an evaluation of quantitative and qualitative data. Brokers from across the country were invited to nominate the insurers they had worked with in the construction sector over the past year, with those receiving sufficient nominations advancing to a detailed submission stage.
For SPG Canada, the designation reflects the strength of the broker relationships built across our construction book, and the underwriting discipline and claims support that stand behind every policy we place. Brokers remain at the centre of every account we write, and this recognition is a reflection of the trust they continue to place in our team.
