SPG Canada Named a Top MGA in Canada for 2026

SPG Canada has been named a 5-Star MGA in Insurance Business Canada’s 2026 Brokers on MGAs report, earning the Brokers’ Pick medal for hard-to-place homeowners and top marks from brokers nationwide in overall responsiveness, pricing, and technical expertise.
The recognition comes as brokers coast to coast are becoming more selective about who they trust. This year’s report, which surveyed brokers to find the top managing general agents (MGAs) in Canada, found a channel where brokers are concentrating their business with small, proven set of partners rather than casing a wider net. Of the 14 MGAs that earned 5-Star status this year, only four products across four MGAs were named Brokers’ Pick medalists based on broker vote, and SPG Canada’s hard-to-place homeowners offering was one of them.
