OVERVIEW

Our Mode Insurance Team is looking for a Sales & Auto Manager to lead our broker relationships and drive sales growth across our auto insurance operations. You will play a central role in building strong partnerships with agency and broker branch managers, while recruiting and developing a high-performing sales team. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and deep insurance industry knowledge to deliver measurable sales results aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.

This is an in-office position based in our Abbotsford, BC office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position you will:

  • Cultivate strong and effective relationships with agency/broker branch managers.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee the sales and training team.
  • Improve and create new sales processes and tools.
  • Identify and create actionable goals for the sales and training team.
  • Monitor and analyze broker and dealer sales.
  • Ensure sales growth is on target with company expectations and alignment with marketing campaigns.
  • Spearhead various projects and new product launches.
  • Managing sales contests, trade show and event organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

You’re a good fit if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the auto insurance sector, with a strong understanding of ICBC, private auto and the dealer environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in broker management or other insurance leadership roles.
  • CAIB and/or CIP designation is an asset.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Level 2 Insurance License.
  • Willing and able to obtain licensing in other provinces.
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Technologically versatile.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong presentation skills (in-person and virtual).
  • Excellent customer service knowledge and skills.
  • Highly self-motivated self-starter who is capable of working both independently, without supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.

SALARY RANGE

The expected salary range for this position is from $85,000 – $100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
