Overview
We are looking for a Personal Lines Junior Underwriter to join our team supporting the Team 24 product offering. The role will include underwriting new business and renewal accounts alongside other members of the Team 24 group. This is a great opportunity for someone with limited underwriting experience to grow their career or someone in the insurance broking world to switch to the underwriting side of the business.
Anderson McTague’s Team 24 is a focused group of underwriters specializing in writing policies for Vacant Dwellings, Seasonal Dwellings, and Rented Dwellings.
Technology creates new time pressures for our underwriters and our broker clients, but it also allows us to do things that were impossible a decade ago. When we created Team 24, our promised turnaround time of less than 24 hours (Monday-Friday) set the bar for the entire industry and changed the way that many brokers were able to do business. Over the past few years, we’ve been building on that initial idea. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our brokers, Team 24 has expanded its commitment to around-the-clock quote request support.
This is a hybrid position in our Saint Johns, NB office, with a standard of 3 days in office and 2 days at home.
